Holy Crap!

Ok so it's about 3:30 in the morning, all is quiet (unless you're out partying) and all of a sudden BOOM!!! These are vids of the propane plant explosion near (or in...not sure) Toronto, August 10 at (as I mentioned) 3:30ish in the morning. Wow...that would be scary.

08/08/08 Olympics

First off I offer no apologies to all you "FREE TIBET" people out there so fair warning that you are not going to like what I have to say here.
I will be watching the Olympics this year with my family...and will enjoy what I do catch of it immensely as my 3 1/2 year old watches in wonder asking a million questions about what the atheletes are doing. While I agree that a lot of bad stuff is happening in Tibet, I do not see ANY reason whatsoever not to support our country and all our atheletes who have worked their asses off to get to this point. This a friggin sporting event people, keep politics out of it. All the Chinese people who worked their butts off to put this together, are they personally killing Tibetans. Does anyone in Canada REALLY know what is going on in Tibet or are you getting all info from our biased propoganda news. And furthermore if politics had anything at all to do with the Olympics, no one should be allowed to host it (especially Canada/USA). Oh, you disagree...well try asking the poor regular citizen of Iraq, Afganistan or whatever country the US of A and Canada decide to plunk their army in, their opinion of our politics. I say watch and cheer on our Olympians and leave politics the hell out of it. I for one am not going to teach my children to not like China or any other country. Hate begets hate and on and on it goes. GO CANADA!!!!
