And Now Back To Our Regular Scheduled Program....

Wow it's been awhile since I last made an entry. I'm finally into a semi routine with the kidlets but boy I am starting to think that anyone who has more than 2 kids is either insane or much braver or organized than I am (no offense to anyone). I've finally got Rosie sitting on the potty again a few times a day. As of yet she has done nothing but sit there but it's a start. I'm feeling great, although I still have 3 weeks til I can lift anything heavier than Ryan. Speaking of Ryan, the little man is growing like a weed. He has a double chin and cute little fat cheeks. He's into size 1 diapers now (it took Rosie about 2 months to outgrow the newborn diapers).
I am so far behind in the news right now, so if anyone has any really strange or cool stories to tell please e-mail me or make a comment (and PLEASE I am so sick of hearing about Anna-Nicole Smith). I'd love to have a picture of that sinkhole in Guatamala.
Oh Rosie's awake, gotta go make popcorn.

Rosemary.

With all this excitement, we haven't forgotten about Rosey. It's been a trial for her, but she enjoys time with her brother. Eating and sleep are screwd up, though it's improving. We've lain on the floor with Ryan while he's enjoying his tummy time, and she'll rub his head and back. He got mad tonight when she got up to do something else, calmed down after she came back and he could look at her some more. They're fast becoming friends. All that aside, she relishes times when he's asleep and she can get some solo attention, more than ever. Tonight we took some pictures, or rather she took some pictures, a couple from her point of view and one of Mom. She definately enjoyed herself, and went to bed after a snuggle with Dad and Mom quite happy.

Everyone is home

Well after much ado, they let Mom and little Ryan home yesterday evening. 72 hrs is when jaundice peaks apparently, and he's only got the slightest tinge of yellow. He's still eating well, at the health nurses visit he had gained 3 oz from yesterday. Mom is doing well, although there was mild signs of infection at the giant wound in her belly - which is why they didn't discharge her that morning. All was well in the Health Nurses opinion this morning though. So I guess on those fronts life is good. Rosey is warming up to Ryan now, and has been giving one of her babies a bottle. The bouts of crying over this intrusion in her life has diminished, although her concern for him whenever he makes noise continues. And she stinks right now, so I've got to go...

Ryan Luis

Well, as the title suggests - we ended up with Ryan Luis as our final choice for a name. Sorry it took so long to get that up here - got busy with with Rosy and then passed out with her on the couch. She's been introduced and didn't much care to meet the new baby, or for that matter even look at him or mom. She warmed up and got quite silly at the hospital, noticed that he had really little hands, feet, etc...
Gave him hugs and kisses, and was quite happy to sit and have a short snuggle with him. I guess we'll see what she thinks, once everyone is home and regular life has resumed! As for status, everyone is quite happy and healthy, Ryan has continued to eat well, has pooped and done every thing that new babies are supposed to do. And mom is recovering quite nicely with no complications whatsoever!

Video of New Baby!

Well as promised here's a short video clip of our little boy! It was easy to do after all, took a couple of minutes while getting some stuff done around the house.

New Baby!

Well at 10:55 this morning a new addition to our family arrived. 7lbs 13oz, 19" long little boy! He's healthy, and was hungry right from the get go. He's eaten quite well, and met his first 24hr quota for feeding within 10 hours! He's very strong, can hold his head up in some positions, and has been quite active. We haven't set in stone a name yet, other than my favourite chocie being out. No "Jesus Huzza" for us. I'll put his name up tommorrow, and as I have a whack of phone calls to make I'll keep this short. Here's some picytures for those of you to far off to come and see him! After I've mad some phone calls, and if I can figure out how - I'll put up a video on youtube so everyone can see him in action!
