Fishocide

So yesterday our adorable 17 month old son unwittingly destroyed our fairly expensive planted fish tank. Not the tank itself but all the living (or rather now mostly dead) things in it. Meio had a rather complicated CO2 reactor built (actually his entire filtration system is quite weird) to help the plants. Appearantly Ryan got his mitts in there, disassembled part of it, releasing all sorts of not so good for the fishoes/plants stuff into the water. I think we've lost all but 1 of the fish (and some of them were not cheap) and we have yet to see if the plants can be saved. So we chalked it up to a learning experience...just because you think your little kids can't reach something, does not mean they won't think of a creative way to get into what they're not supposed to.

On a happier note, I managed to get Rosie into a preschool for September, yay! She's very excited and I am totally shocked that she is actually old enough to begin such a venture.

Hahaha! That totally sounds like something my brother would have done when he was little ... I've heard lots of stories about him climbing things and taking things apart :)

Congrats on preschool. I can't believe its time for that already ...
