Way Too Funny

Saw this advertised while perusing craigslist this morning:
Wanted: a conservative platform for the 2008 Federal Election. We weren't able to get it together for the debates. Early voting started yesterday, and we still have no platform. Does anyone have a platform to spare? If so, please contact 1-866-808-8407 or http://www.conservative.ca.
Thought it was extremely funny and just wanted to share. I wish I had thought to do this and would love to meet the person who posted it!

I bet he'd like to meet you too. Why not email the reply-to address on that ad? Because the creator of the original kijiji and CL ads (posted in Calgary) actually reads all the replies.

Also, I think he'd appreciate it if everyone posted the ad everywhere possible. No need to change the text - it's public domain.

From uncyclopedia.org:

Stephen Harper is running for Prime Minister of Canada in the 2008 Federal election. He wasn't able to get his platform together by voting time, so in desperation, posted numerous ads on Craigslist and Kijiji to help him come up with a plan. His daughter Rachel later put together this collage of photos, featuring Harper hugging Grandma and the kids. There are also a few sentences about policy under each photo, written by his son Benjamin.
